Awards

Canadian Graduate Scholarship (2018): The objective of the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS M) Program is to help develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship (2017): The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) program encourages excellence in graduate studies at publicly-assisted universities in Ontario. Since 1975, the OGS program has been providing merit-based scholarships to Ontario’s best graduate students in all disciplines of academic study. The scholarship program at U of T is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and the University of Toronto.

Isabel Warne Fellowship (2017): Award intended for University College students at the University of Toronto pursuing graduate studies within or outside Canada.

University of Toronto Excellence Award (2017): The University of Toronto Excellence Award was founded to give undergraduate students summer research opportunities to experience different approaches to research in various fields; to help students learn and appreciate the investigative methodology of areas of particular interest; and, to provide students with an experience that will allow them to make informed decisions about pursuing careers in research. Award value is $6000.

George Mandler Research Fund (2017): Awarded on the basis of academic merit to Psychology program students undertaking research initiatives in the Department of Psychology

University College Alumni Scholarship (2016): Award based on academic achievement. Award value is $500.

University of Toronto Excellence Award (2016): The University of Toronto Excellence Award was founded to give undergraduate students summer research opportunities to experience different approaches to research in various fields; to help students learn and appreciate the investigative methodology of areas of particular interest; and, to provide students with an experience that will allow them to make informed decisions about pursuing careers in research. Award value is $6000.

C.L. Burton Open Scholarship (2015): The gift of the late C.L. Burton, C.B.E.; Award given at the discretion of College Council. Award value is $200.

Dean’s List (Received July 2015, October 2015, October 2016, July 2017): This designation is given to degree students in the Faculty having a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.50 or higher.

Ontario Scholar (2013): Awarded to students who have successfully maintained honour role status in their grade 12 term.

Centennial Scholar (2013): Graduates from Humberside Collegiate Institute who have remained on the honour roll throughout their high school career each receive a Centennial Scholar Award.
